Sally is a great tutor helping me with my Spelling, grammar and punctuation. I find her help very useful learning more sentence openings whilst also improving my vocabulary.
Sally also helps me with thinking outside the box and using common sense. She always makes every lesson fun by giving us sweets at the end of the lesson, putting a fire on in the winter and playing fun educational games in between work.
Sally helped me pass the entrance exams for both Kings and Abbey gate!!

My son was extremely nervous about the idea of a one-to-one tutor, but Sally really put my son at ease within the first 5 minutes and after their first meeting he couldn’t wait to return. As the parent, I found Sally very reassuring and able to answer all my questions regarding the entry exam my son was preparing for.

Sally was recommended to us by a friend. Our daughter and son attended tuition with Sally, before sitting entrance exams, for Queens, Abbeygate and The Hammond. My son prepared for a year 3 assessment to enter Abbeygate.
We found Sally to be very friendly ,calm and encouraging. Both of our children thought she was amazing and really looked forward to their weekly sessions. Notes for each session are recorded in a communication book and appropriate and achievable homework is given.

When I started out looking for a tutor to help Nat prepare for the King’s school entrance examinations, I knew very little about the assessment process and what to expect.
Even from the initial call I had with Sally, it was clear that she had the knowledge and had bags of experience in supporting children – and their parents – through the whole process. She has been unstintingly generous with her time, advice and empathy.
Every question or concern I’ve had, she has answered – whether about the format of the exam, resources to help Nat with a specific topic or explaining to me what a modal verb is! Nat loves his tutoring sessions with Sally; they’re fun, focussed and full of joy and positivity.
